I always love coming here bc this is the firat place where I've tried raw sushi and actually loved it. All the fish is fresh and the flavors are so good & melt in your mouth. The restaurant itself is a little small so for HUGE parties it can be uncomfortable. But I do have a bias towards this place because of the lovely introduction to raw fish but the service is attentive and the food is delicious. Parking can be a little confusing and there's a parking garage right by the restaurant but you can get turned around pretty easily but other than that, I recommend coming here ! It is a little pricey but I'm willing to pay more for fish that won't make me sick :)
A solid date night spot in Inman park. Love their lobster tempura roll and their sushi is always so fresh and delicious. The service is kind and responsive. Like their drinks but haven't had one that was super memorable. Definitely worth trying if you haven't already.
I enjoyed this place thoroughly while a local friend took me to various spots around town, and I regret I didn't review immediately because I think about the sashimi here often! Some other stellar bites included the hamachi nigiri and the scallops, and the bar menu is fabulous. The whiskey sour I had was fabulously executed! It's a chic environment without being fussy and the staff is lovely and patient. Parking was fairly straightforward in the garage next door. On a super busy night in the area I could see how space availability could complicate things, but the food is so good that it's surely worth budgeting that extra time. This ranks among the best sushi I've had in the U.S. and is a must-visit next time I'm back in Atlanta!
Beautiful restaurant, amazing service, reasonably priced for the quality, and some of the freshest sushi I've had in Atlanta. I loved the intimate, warmly lit, cozy interior and enjoyed the view of the sushi bar from where we were sitting. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the avocado balls appetizer and spicy yellowtail roll. I'll definitely be coming back to try their other rolls and also their nigiri. Definitely recommend this spot for its great menu, location, and high quality sushi.
Upon first impression, MF Sushi presents a stunning ambiance with a sleek, modern aesthetic. However, I was caught off guard by a strong, lingering odor upon entry--a smell that you eventually acclimate to, but is quite unpleasant at first. Beyond that, the service experience started on a high note with immediate greetings and prompt seating. Initially, we were placed at a fairly small table, but our thoughtful waiter suggested moving us to a larger one to accommodate my boyfriend, who is 6'6", so he'd have more legroom--a small gesture that truly set the tone for the evening. Our server, full of charisma, introduced himself and guided us through the menu with enthusiasm. We opted for the Geisha cocktail and a green tea-based drink, both of which were excellent. As for appetizers, we chose the baked mussels and the snow crab miso soup. The mussels had great flavor, though I would have preferred the meat to be shredded more finely. The miso soup was rich and flavorful, featuring generous pieces of crab and tofu; a touch more seaweed and green onions would have elevated it further. For the main courses, my boyfriend went with the teriyaki salmon, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. While delicious, the portion size felt small for the price point. I ordered the shrimp bowl, topped with fresh tuna and Serrano peppers. The tuna was fresh, and the wasabi was potent and vibrant--adding just the right amount of heat, making the Serrano peppers almost unnecessary. Overall, MF Sushi delivered an experience that I'd rate a solid nine out of ten. The ambiance, attentiveness of the staff, and quality of the food are all highlights, with just a few areas for improvement. I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu. Thank you MF Sushi Team Kay Lachelle
We had a reservation at 9:00pm but we were starving so we called and they had a table for us at 7:45pm. It is a pretty busy restaurant, but I never felt neglected by the server. It's a little noisy but not too much that you can't hear the people at your table. Every thing we ordered was amazing and I'd go back just for the toro and wagyu! It's honestly well worth the money and you can taste the freshness of everything as well. The drinks are also tasty and kind of strong! It was a 10/10 experience.
MF Sushi is a beautiful restaurant perfect for a date night or celebration with friends. We tried several of their rolls and appetizers and they were all delicious! We were sat in the back because we had a party of 6 and it was quite loud and we found ourselves shouting at each other to be able to have conversation. Not sure what could be done about this, but something to be aware of and maybe ask to sit outside.
Pretty good sushi restaurant in the Inman Park area. We walked in around 8 pm on a Thursday night and were quickly seated. Nice crowd of people and wasn't noisy at all, and it got much busier as we left around 8:30 for more cocktails, strong ones... Ordered the Hamachi and Anago. The Japanese grilled eel was very good Service was quick, but my MF Lychee was pretty weak.
I only got to take pictures of the outside here unfortunately. But I can say, the food was so good! The service at the bar was great and they were on top of things. Very accessible. I wish I got to see more of the restaurant, but from what I could see, it was very nice. Fancy as one would say. Great for date nights and even girls night... or anything really! I ordered shrimp tempura and one with crab in it, but I can't fully remember the name. Shrimp tempura is my absolute favorite, so of course I was obsessed with it. The right amount of crunch and warm to cool ratio haha. The crab was also really good! I love crab. I also ordered 2 lychee martini's which were amazing! It was so sweet, yet you could still taste the alcohol lol. Definitely have to come back here to take more pics and experience more food.
MF Sushi is a slightly hidden gem! The menu here is perfection. They have a wide range of fresh fish dishes as well as cooked options to appeal to a large party. The service is great, and I love the outfits that the servers wear. The whole vibe gave me a really chic mod metropolitan sushi shop. It's great for a date night or celebrations so you can also sit at the sushi counter. They have a special flame cooked method in which they offer a variety of meats. we got the duck breast. It came in the most delicious sauce. We ordered a side of rice just a slurp it all up. Next time I would go for more simple rolls. While the soft shell crab and tempura based rolls were great. I would really love to taste the fish on its own next time.
